The Cartelle MIPS® has similar design language to the premium Montara MIPS Helmet, and offers a compact shape for deep, confident coverage, and the Roc Loc 5 fit system so you can dial-in both fit tension and adjust vertical position with a single hand.

The Cartelle MIPS® is also designed for goggle compatibility, and the P.O.V. Plus visor allows you to lift the visor and place your goggles on the front of the helmet. The Coolmax padding has great wicking properties, and its extra plush provides all-day comfort on the trail. Meanwhile, the helmet is also integrated with MIPS, the Multi-Directional Impact Protection System, which redirects impact energy to provide more protection in certain impacts.

• Hardshell with in-mold Hardbody™ lower wrap: The two-piece shell combines a tough outer hard shell with a polycarbonate lower shell permanently fused to the liner for durability without excess weight.
• Integrated MIPS®: All Giro helmets are designed to reduce as much energy as possible while meeting and exceeding stringent safety standards. The goal of Giro's Integrated MIPS-equipped helmets is to reduce rotational forces. Giro believes that helmets equipped with this technology can reduce the amount of rotational force that may be transferred to rider's brain in certain impacts.
• POV Plus visor: Our POV Plus visor features an adjustment mechanism that lets you move the visor up and down in indexed steps. • Wind Tunnel ventilation: Giro helmets are developed utilizing our proprietary Wind Tunnel ventilation system.
