Still designed according to the compact road design with the demolition top tube, Megadrive down tube and the Overdrive 2 headset to maintain the acclaimed driving characteristics.The new goal was to be among the most aerodynamic racing bikes in addition to the best stiffness-to-weight ratio.Giant developed a new aerodynamic tube shape after extensive CFD analyzes and “real life” tests in the renowned GST wind tunnel in Germany.This cut-off ellipse shape makes the TCR faster than competitive bikes in real life conditions with 2 water bottles, rider included and measured from different wind angles.Aerodynamic shapes need more material, of course the Giant TCR had to be lighter than ever.Because Giant is the only bicycle manufacturer to develop and produce its own carbon and resin, this carbon is now also laser cut by robots into ultra-precise shapes.This makes the carbon pieces even smaller and lighter with tighter edges.But the complete frameset has been assessed and so the new TCR frames are sprayed with new “thinline” paints.Instead of 7 layers of paint, the TCRs are now sprayed with 3 stronger paints to make the frameset as light as possible.The TCR advanced pro disc frame weighs only 855 grams and the Overdrive 2 oversized tapered fork weighs just 360 grams.To leave the competition behind, the TCR has not lost any of its stiffness.In fact, by further analyzing the front fork with disc brakes, the Giant TCR has a new symmetrical fork that adds 35% more lateral stiffness to the frameset.

With the new TCR, many components have also been improved and renewed.The Giant SLR1 carbon wheelset has been completely renewed.Equipped with a new hub designed by Giant that, due to this new design, does not give more friction when closing the thru-axle axle and therefore has 69% less resistance than the DT240 hub.The unique dynamic balanced lacing spoke pattern has remained and makes the wheels durable and super stiff.And finally a new super light hookles wide tubeless rim makes this wheelset come in at 1452 grams.The new CADEX tubeless 28 mm (25c) tires are wider and fit better on this renewed hookles rim. This new tubeless tire with its flexible carcass also adds the necessary grip.Tubeless reduces the risk of punctures and gives even better driving characteristics such as comfort and more grip.The carbon Variant seatpost has the new aerodynamic cut-off ellipse shape but still with a unique carbon layup it also provides a bit of flex and comfort.The Giant Contact SL lightweight aluminum handlebar and Giant Contact SL lightweight aluminum Overdrive 2 stem have also been aerodynamically and ergonomically updated on the Giant TCR advanced pro disc road bikes.And to make your new TCR fit like a glove comes a Giant TCR advanced pro disc with the Giant Fleet SL "boost" saddle 148mm wide, a shorter wider nose and an ergonomic opening.The Giant TCR advanced pro disc models are standard equipped with a Giant Ridesense sensor and this can be connected to any Buetooth and/or ANT+ bike computer.The new Giant TCR advanced comes with a sleek and adjustable out-front mount.

The Sram Force etap AXS groupset is Sram's new 12-speed shifting group.Full of new techniques such as wireless shifting and a hydraulic damper in the rear derailleur, this is an enrichment of the Scott Foil 20. You can connect the Sram Force etap AXS group with the Sram smartphone app to configure the group completely to your liking.Due to the cassette with a 10-tooth sprocket and the 12 gears, you have a greater range than the "standard" sprocket configuration.The flattop chain ensures that Force AXS drivetrain is sufficiently strong and shifts smoothly.By adding a wattage meter or connecting extra sprint shifters, the Sram Force AXS group makes it suitable for the most demanding cyclists.
